11th Annual First Day at School Program

Help us to help children start off the school year prepared and equipped with the supplies required for learning! School supplies are now being collected and donations will be accepted at the food bank during our regular hours of work, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. Distribution of the backpacks starts August 16th. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for any donation acccompained by a cash register receipt.

Supplies that are still needed include:

-Ball Point Pens (Black & Blue) -Pencils

-Pencil Cases -Mechanical Pencils

-Binders (Small & Large) -Calculators (Scientific)

-Scissors -Hygene Products

-Rulers -Math Sets

-Pencil Crayons -Felt Markers

Friends of Interfaith Charity Dinner & Silent Auction - Taking place on Friday, September 24th, the Friends of Interfaith Charity Dinner & Silent Auction is held at the Italian-CanadianCulturalCenter, and includes a plated dinner, entertainment, and silent auction. All proceeds for the evening will benefit the Interfaith Food Bank and the thousands of people who need our help throughout the year. We are currently recruiting substantial goods/services that are likely to bring in significant bids at the silent auction. This year's Whoop-Up Days Pancake Breakfast was another success! Thanks to all of our volunteers and sponsors. And thanks to our friends at Richardson Oilseed for their donations and volunteers!
