JANUARY UPDATE
With Christmas now just a recent memory, food stocks have already begun to deplete and we are in need of a few of the crucial items required for packing our hampers. With the increased demand for our services, we are experiencing difficulty in maintaining adequate food stock to serve those who come to us for emergency food assistance.
We are exceptionally grateful to the community for helping us to get through the Christmas rush, however, we are again requesting help from our supporters to recruit select items for which we have immediate need. Please help restock our shelves for the remaining winter months, as we are expecting demand to stay at this higher level at least until spring.
Below is a list of items we are currently running low on:
* Pasta - dry noodles such as spaghetti/macaroni
* Pasta Sauce
* Canned vegetables
* Canned pork and beans
* Canned meat/fish such as chicken, ham, salmon or tuna
* Baby formula – all age groups 12 months and under
* Diapers
* Grocery Store Gift Certificates to assist with purchasing items as required
Donations
Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge relies heavily upon donations of food, funds, and gifts in kind from within our community. We are only able to give what we receive.

We are constantly recruiting donations of non-perishable food items.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
Choose to donate products, services or discounts that will help us to achieve our goals:

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the food bank, without their commitment to serve, our organization would be unable to deliver the quantity or quality of services that we provided clientele this year. Volunteers can choose to donate their time to Interfaith on either a regular or casual basis. Click here to learn more about volunteering at Interfaith Food Bank.
PLANNED GIVING
Planned Giving is a means of "leaving a legacy" and ensuring that the charitable causes we believe in will have some means of sustainable funding for the programs and services they provide.
