This program was formed through a unique partnership between Interfaith Food Bank, Chinook Health—Population Health, and Family Centre. 

 

Good food and good friends are what you and your children will find when you come to the Interfaith Chinook Country Kitchen, located right at Interfaith Food Bank.  The Interfaith Chinook Country Kitchen aims to teach individuals and families the skills to prepare low cost healthy meals.

 

This program is FREE and offers morning and afternoon cooking sessions under the guidance of a nutrition specialist. Participants work independently to prepare two different recipes and take home all the food they make.

 

All recipes, food, and cooking utensils are provided.  Just bring your own containers to take your food home in. 

 

Parents and children welcome as we offer infant and children’s programming lead by an Early Childhood Educator from Family Centre. While parents are cooking, children are lead through activities and exploration through play, music, and art.

             or 1:00 pm—3:00 pm
